Map the regulatory pathway
Identify the medical regulator, registration category, primary-source verification, exams, language evidence and processing time.
- Ask whether patient care is permitted under the proposed registration
- Confirm who submits or sponsors each application
- Keep programme acceptance separate from regulator approval
Clarify participation
Ask what you can observe, assist with and perform under supervision. Clinical titles alone are insufficient evidence of hands-on access.
Build the complete budget
Include fees, registration, exams, immigration, travel, accommodation, insurance and income foregone. Treat unstated funding as unknown.
Get key terms in writing
Before accepting, confirm role, supervision, salary or fee, start date, leave, insurance, registration responsibility and withdrawal terms.
